From food and pharmaceuticals to chemicals and personal care, process manufacturers produce the essential goods that power our daily lives. Yet many of these non-discrete operations still rely on outdated, paper based and legacy systems for managing production and quality operations.

We are changing that. By building AI-powered software with industrial-grade IoT, we help process manufacturers modernize how they collect, analyze, and act on in-process production and quality data. The result: improved batch performance, fewer production issues, improved compliance, higher quality and a system of action for their most critical data.

What You'll Do:

• Own the full technical roadmap across hardware, software, and AI — setting architecture direction, build vs. buy decisions, and engineering standards across the platform
• Lead and scale a lean, high-output engineering team (onshore+ nearshore), building the culture, processes, and structure needed to ship fast without breaking things
• Drive the evolution of our IoT infrastructure — from device firmware and edge integrations to real-time data pipelines that power manufacturing workflows
• Embed AI/ML directly into the product: predictive quality, automated traceability, and intelligent production insights — moving from experimentation to production with clear KPIs
• Architect and own our systems of record: multi-tenant, high-reliability data platforms that serve as the operational source of truth for manufacturers across facilities
• Partner with the CEO and product team on roadmap prioritization, customer discovery, and translating operational complexity into elegant, scalable systems
• Serve as the technical voice with customers, investors, and enterprise partners — credibly representing the platform at every level

What We're Looking For:

• 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 3–5 in a senior technical leadership role (CTO, VP Engineering, or Head of Engineering) — ideally at an early to mid-stage B2B SaaS company
• Proven 0-to-1 and 1-to-Nexperience: you've built in resource-constrained environments, shipped something from scratch, and scaled what you built — not just inherited large org headcount
• Deep IoT and distributed systems expertise — edge computing, device firmware, hardware-software integration, and real-time data (MQTT, WebSockets, event streams)
• with the architectural judgment to build for reliability at scale
• Large-scale systems of record experience: you've built or owned multi-tenant, high-reliability platforms in ERP-adjacent or data-intensive enterprise contexts where data integrity is non-negotiable
• Genuine curiosity and hands-on experience across AI application development — including infrastructure, workflow orchestration, and AI agent systems and a track record of shipping AI features into production, not just prototyping them
• Proven ability to build and lead a mixed engineering organization: FTEs, contractors, and nearshore talent — setting culture, establishing ownership, and keeping the team aligned on a clear technical roadmap
• A builder-leader mindset: equally comfortable whiteboarding architecture with your team and presenting a technical vision to customers
• Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial operations, or ERP/QMS integrations is a plus
• but not required; the right person will ramp quickly with genuine curiosity about the space

We plan to use AI to simplify configuration, surface insights, and automate decision-making in real-time manufacturing environments:

• Smart Form Builder: Converts PDFs, spreadsheets, and ERP exports into structured digital workflows
• Advanced analysis: Functioning as an AI process/manufacturing engineering agent, this multi-agent architecture will help identify process inefficiencies, improve yields, optimize cycle times, and uncover actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Smart Alerting: Learns from deviations and outcomes to trigger intelligent alerts
• AI Workflow Builder: Uses natural language inputs to set up workflows, rules, and routing
• Operator Assistant: Bridges gaps between systems with intelligent data routing and automation
• MCP Server: Enabling customers to easily integrate with other systems and execute dynamic workflow orchestration.
