Looking back at #NvidiaGTC, and what was, for Nscale, not only a defining week but also one that will set the pace for the rest of the year! Three announcements that would each have warranted their own press cycle. Five Nscale speakers on stage. Hundreds of needle-moving conversations in four days! That's how GTC went for us. But before I get to the announcements — something about the week itself deserves saying. NVIDIA didn't host just another conference last week. They set a blistering pace. And for four days in San Jose, an entire industry tried to match it. Jensen's vision for what AI has and will become is bold and exciting — and last week, the whole ecosystem showed up ready to drive, build and own it. A personal highlight — Of all the industry-elites, Jensen Huang and Michael Dell both stopping by the Nscale booth was a real sight to see! In a week of thousands of conversations, those moments stick with you. For Nscale, it was a defining week; -- The collaboration with Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Caterpillar — 1.35GW of Vera Rubin NVL72 GPUs at a flagship AI factory campus in West Virginia. -- The acquisition of American Intelligence & Power Corporation, completing the full stack from energy to compute to tokens. -- And the commitment to deploy 100,000+ Vera Rubin GPUs in Europe in 2027, making Nscale the first European company to deploy that platform at scale. Scale, Speed, Execution — none of it happens without the right partners around the table. Which is exactly what the #NVIDIA #AIGrid — announced by Ronnie Vasishta and co-developed with Nscale and key industry partners set a clear level for the rest of the week. A three-layer architecture: Nscale's hyperscale super-clusters at the foundation, a telco-hosted regional layer in the middle, and thousands of distributed edge sites handling last-mile inference at the point of need. One control plane across all three — from large model training all the way to sub-10ms physical inference at global scale. Moving from $/bit to $/token. Thank you to Ronnie Vasishta, Chris Penrose, and their teams for the effort behind this launch. The Nscale team ran packed sessions across the week — Philippe Sachs on building local sovereign AI in practice, @Sagar Rawal on liquid-cooled AI cloud gigafactories, a breakfast briefing with Dell Technologies where Tom Burke, Patrick Adorante, Tim Loake, and Stephen Bosarge MBA tackled moving generative AI from pilot to production, and my session on turning telecom networks into sovereign AI-ready platforms. The ambition on display last week was measured in power contracts, GPU allocations, and sovereign commitments, not marketing claims. Mobile World Congress is just around the corner, and the energy is already building. MWC is one of the moments I look forward to most — not just for the technology on display, but for the depth of conversation it unlocks. There's something unique about bringing customers, partners, and innovators together in one place to explore what's next. This year, I'm especially excited to dig into the areas shaping the future of our industry — AI-powered network automation, next-gen monetization, and the infrastructure that will underpin tomorrow's connected world. And perhaps most exciting of all, the early work happening around 6G — defining what it means, what it enables, and how we collectively lay the foundation for the next era of connectivity. We're at that rare moment where the decisions made today will shape the industry for decades to come. Underpinning all of it is security. As networks evolve and connectivity expands, securing everything — every device, every connection, every layer of the network — isn't an afterthought. It's the foundation. But beyond the big themes, it's the individual meetings that matter most — sitting down with customers to understand where they are in their transformation journeys, and with partners to explore how we go further together. MWC always leaves me with more questions than answers — and that's exactly the point. The best ideas come from staying curious, listening closely, and being open to what's possible. This is INCREDIBLE news not just for #Nokia, but also for the entire #XR industry! The articles being written right now about this Nokia #NVIDIA deal are focusing on bringing AI into 6G and telecommunications, but what's not being mentioned is that #AI-RAN, the focus of the Nokia/NVIDIA deal, also finally makes edge computing a real thing - that it, makes GPUs available in the base station for third parties to use. And as #ARGlasses continue to rely on AI for heavy computing functions like #VisualAnalytics ("Glasses, where did I leave my car keys?"), that heavy computing needs to be located somewhere with more oomph than a smartphone. It'll take a while to build it up and roll it out, but AI-RAN will ultimately provide the off-device computing power for robots, drones, AR glasses, and all kinds of other devices that want to use AI but also want to be affordable, lightweight, and have a long battery life.
