In the military you don't get to choose your team. Nobody get's fired. You eat, sleep, shit, shower and shave with the same people day in and day out. You have no choice but to trust the guy you're in the trenches with. This quickly teaches you that everyone is a great teammate, doesn't matter where they come from, or what their culture is. Everyone can be a great teammate when you're both working together towards a common and noble goal. I truly believe the same holds true in the civilian world and I aspire to make my brother and sisters in arms proud that I hold true to that principle in my role as a Software Engineer every day.

    Teamwork makes the dream work.
