Characteristics Of A Systems Thinker Article: https://lnkd.in/e7Fv_8wD For us to really become systems thinkers and to have a positive influence in the world requires more than just learning a set of conceptual tools and methods; it requires the engagement of heart, mind, and hands, or as Martin Sandbrook says: "For some people, systems thinking is the application of a series of tools....approaches, methodologies, techniques, but to me, those tools tend to really just serve to be more sophisticated forms of mechanistic thinking if you haven't shifted into a systems thinking mindset; systems thinking is a way of being... a way of seeing the world, as an attitude of mind. Systems thinking begins when first we see the world through the eyes of another." In this post, I want to share some of the insights from our Systems Awareness Guide as to the broader characteristics of systems thinkers. These also draw upon the insights of others, such as the Water Centers' Habits of a Systems Thinker.
