The Utah Business Coalition is made up of 40 Utah businesses and associations across a broad spectrum of industries in the State of Utah. Each legislative election cycle, the Coalition recognizes "Legislative Business Champions" that have not only supported business friendly legislation through their voting record, but have demonstrated a proactive desire to enhance the business climate in Utah.

The Salt Lake Chamber Business Champion award is the business community’s highest honor given to legislators who stand for pro-Utah, pro-business and pro-economy legislation. It designates those state legislators who have demonstrated a willingness to prioritize the success of Utah’s economy as “Business Champions.”

The Legislator of the Year Award is for setting an example for generations of women and leaving a positive impact for years to come. The Women's Republican Club of Salt Lake City is the oldest existing women’s Republican club in the nation. The organization is dedicated to helping women become educated in the political process and in increasing the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
