.This app helps people to know and share their location with friends .
.This is done as a course project of Computer Networks.
.The Server is multithreaded and accepts TCP connections from the client.
.The clients update their location information using GPS and communicate at regular intervals to server
.The server maintains a global record and sends periodically(15sec) the entire updated data to client.

Instart Logic is a startup that provides software defined content delivery .
It provides cloud application delivery service in the world to extend beyond the limited backend-only cloud architectures of the past with an innovative, intelligent end-to-end platform delivered as a service.
Its end-to-end platform combines machine learning for performance and security with a CDN for delivery, and is designed for DevOps and mobile-first applications.

    My work briefly:
-As a part of Summer Internship in Instart Logic ,I worked on the implementation and analysis of performance gains in Multipage preloading of webpages.
-A substantial amount of text processing and preliminary data analysis is done on the server logs of Quora, WashingtonPost , Dailylook etc. to determine the trends in page page flow.
-Using the webpagetest(wpt) tool in the next phase , the cacheable resources are identified and further analysis is made on the resources to be preloaded so that the performance metrics time and the data downloaded are optimised.
-Later , the changes are made to the config in the proxy servers so that the resources determined in the previous steps are preloaded for the websites.
-Now using the wpt tool , the performance metrics are measured and it is observed that with some amount of overhead there is substantial decrease in the page load time and page rank too.

  • Implementing Graph algorithms in hadoop using map-reduce

For one year, I did research intern in BIG DATA Analysis under Prof. Dr. Sobhan (implementing map reduce algorithms through Hadoop) and have an IBM certification in Hadoop fundamentals.

Our project is to setup a Hadoop cluster from scratch and implementing Map Reduce algorithms especially graph algorithms like all pair shortest path , Single short shortest path over 1000-30000 nodes and analysing the performance gains of a single node Vs cluster .
The work done is in the blog :…

Plagiarism is rampant in today’s world. Students ‘take help’ from each other, and submit assignments, and hence circumvent their incumbent work. However, obviously, plagiarism still pervades on this platform. The project goal is to ensure that the degree of ‘infringement of copyright’ is reduced, and so, we propose to add an extra layer of check on top of Google Classroom.

  • Compiler Design

    -

-As a part of Compiler design course in the 5th semester , a compiler front end was built for the language COOL (Classroom Object Oriented Language).
-Antlr4 tool was used for the construction of individual components like lexer , parser, semantic analyzer and code generator modules.
-The program was transformed to LLVM IR by the code generator which then can be compiled as normal llvm code.
