  • Data Mining : Frequent Itemsets - Market-Basket analysis

    • Implemented SON and Apriori algorithms for finding pairs of Items/Products that are frequently brought together by users. This was built using Scala, on top of Apache Spark framework. Extended the implementation further to find frequent triples, quadruples.

    1. Autocompletion using jQuery AJAX requests to Apache Solr. 

    2. Spelling Correction - using Peter Norvig's spell check algorithm 

    3. Snippet - Displayed snippets for the search results, when the query term is matched in the html content

  • Artificial Intelligence : First Order Logic Entailment

    Developed an agent using the resolution algorithm that given a Knowledgebase and a query, determines whether the Knowledgebase entails the query. Applied unification algorithm to among clauses of the Knowledge base to resolve the clauses to determine entailment

  • Artificial Intelligence : Fruit Rage

    Built an AI game playing agent to play Fruit Rage game. The agent uses minimax algorithm along with Alpha Beta Pruning to choose the best possible move that maximizes its score and minimizes opponents score. It can play both against human or any other agent. It was implemented in C++.

  • Artificial Intelligence : Bot For Solving Modified N-queen’s Problem Using BFS, DFS and Simulated Annealing

    Developed an Algorithm for finding a solution set to modified n-queen’s problem, where an additional concept of wall is introduced in which two queens along the same Row/Column/Diagonal wouldn’t be conflicting if they have a wall between them. It was implemented using Breadth First Search, Depth First Search and Simulated Annealing using C++.

  • Internet of Things + Computer Vision : Attendance Entry Using Face Recognition

    • Implemented face detection using Histogram of Gradients(HOG) method.
    • Improved accuracy of face detection using face land mark estimation algorithm by a factor of 3.
    • Trained images with OpenFace deep convolution network.
    • Applied linear SVM classifier for finding person in database.

  • Internet of Things + Computer Vision : Smart Helmet For Agriculture

    • Implemented canny edge detection algorithm for processing crop images and amount of weed in the crop is calculated.
    • Time for which motor should be on to spray a particular amount of pesticide to crop is set from calculated weed amount.
    • Calculated amount of pesticide is sprayed on respective weeds.
    • Power supply is provided to the raspberry pi through solar panels, supercapacitor and battery
    which is the most efficient way of the power supply.
