It is an association of persons who represent businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the U.S.

The Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) is the trusted network for homeland security mission operations to share Sensitive information. Federal, State, Local, Territorial, Tribal, International and Private Sector homeland security partners use HSIN to manage operations, analyze data, send alerts and notices, and in general, share the information they need to do their jobs.

ISSA is a nonprofit organization for the information security profession committed to promoting effective cyber security on a global basis.

The Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC) is comprised of public agency information technology professionals working throughout California. The NSLS is an organization that provides a life-changing leadership program that helps students achieve personal growth, career success, and empowers them to have a positive impact in their communities. With 759 chapters, the NSLS currently has 1,753,545 members nationwide.

The U.S. water and wastewater sector’s leading national associations and research foundations established the Water Information Sharing and Analysis Center (WaterISAC) in 2002, in coordination with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. That same year, it was authorized by Congress in the Bioterrorism Act. WaterISAC is the designated information sharing and operations arm of the Water Sector Coordinating Council.
