    For 28 years, the Alameda County Community Food Bank has been at the forefront of hunger-relief efforts. We provide food through a network of 275 food pantries, soup kitchens, and other community-based organizations throughout Alameda County — from Berkeley to Fremont, Oakland to Livermore.
    We serve 1 in 6 residents of Alameda County, nearly two-thirds of whom are children and seniors — the most vulnerable members of our community.

    That’s why Children’s Hospital designs its healthcare especially for children. At Children’s Hospital Oakland they don’t measure things by adult standards and divide by half. As the only independent children’s hospital in the Bay Area, they give kids their undivided attention.
