Many CMOs have been pushed to the edge of the C-suite, relegated to pipeline production instead of market creation. With today's looping, ghosting buyer journey - that's a huge miss. The most valuable CMOs today are translators: of data into insight, brand into belief, and vision into numbers. They also have experience across the stack - COO, Sales, Product, Strategy .. The future CMO is part economist, part storyteller, part technologist. #hyphenated
