The focus of this paper is to provide a unified perspective of enterprise architecture to a wide-ranging audience, not just to the architects themselves, but also to the people who interact with the architects, and others who want to learn about enterprise architecture. This paper was developed by the Federation of EA Professional Organizations in a multi-year effort. It was approved for publication by 17 international membership organizations representing thousands of architects, engineers, and analysts worldwide, and represents the first real consensus in the profession of Enterprise Architecture.
