Funding: WisdomAI just raised $50M. The message behind it is bigger than the round. Not saying investors always get it right, but I see takeaways for data/AI leaders: 1. Analytics teams to extend from dashboarding to “decision readiness.” The BI/analytics category is moving toward real-time, context-aware decision support and increasingly, automation. Data leaders: Shift KPIs from “time-to-insight” to time-to-decision and evaluate tools on their ability to support agents with semantic modeling, workflows, and closed-loop learning. 2. BI isn’t going away-it's evolving. Dashboards aren't dying. BI/analytics insights are still selling, but insights give way to fast growth in decision loop solutions built on context that can be verified. Data leaders: As analytics move into governance, expect your BI/ Semantics / catalog ecosystems to converge. Plan your architecture accordingly. 3. Context is the make-or-break factor for AI. WisdomAI's Enterprise Context Layer is a key part of how they provide the queries to answer prompted questions. Data/AI leaders: invest in the semantic layer, unify metadata and policy-as-code to govern reasoning. This is where the next competitive gap will open. Over the past 24 months, Crusoe proactively secured more than 3.3 GW of gas turbines and reciprocating engines to be delivered in 2026 - 2027 and we have reached initial agreements to purchase an additional 1.2 GW in turbines. In total, this bring’s Crusoe’s portfolio of deployed and near-term deployable gas power generation to approximately 5GW, roughly equivalent to the size of the entire data center industry in Virginia today. These quantities exclude incremental gas power generation capacity available to Crusoe through third party partnerships. Our gas power generation capacity is also paired with significant additional power technology investments and partnerships spanning batteries, solar and wind power generation assets, fly wheels, small modular nuclear reactors and more. All of this power generation capability is underpinned by Crusoe’s in-house power generation team, which plans, designs, engineers, builds and operates utility-scale power generation systems to be vertically integrated into our data center portfolio. Our power generation investments stem from Crusoe’s vision of energy-first AI infrastructure and align with the White House call for data centers to “bring your own power.”

Building a startup is hard. It is especially hard in a country like Nigeria, where the ecosystem is yet to mature, and there are still many challenges to navigate. It is confusing, lonely, and full of uncertain decisions. Founders, especially early-stage founders, need as much support as they can get. Not “inspire to perspire” posts, but practical support on hiring, operations, funding, customer research, and navigating the regulatory landscape. Too many founders are surrounded by noise, surface-level advice, and generic content that does not reflect their current realities. What they need is a community that understands exactly what they are going through and can offer context that is immediately useful. Sierra Collective exists to be that community.
