Couldnt have said it better myself. Seeing everything isn’t the hard part — knowing what to do with what you see is. HR is the connector. The translator between people and leadership. The early-warning system and the steady hand. And when we do our jobs well, we use that perspective to build trust, clarity, and stronger cultures — not just enforce rules.

It’s Employee Appreciation Day, and I’m so grateful for our Universal Technical Institute, Inc. employees! Every day, their contributions impact thousands of lives across the country. Among them are Nush, a first-generation American who realized her goal of working in precision manufacturing after training at UTI-Mooresville; and Vince, who was one of the first graduates of our Porsche program and now leads the service center at a dealership in Florida. They also include Candace, who made a career pivot from banking to healthcare by training as a cardiovascular sonographer at Concorde-Jacksonville; and Arnold, who after leaving the U.S. Navy, answered a new call to service by enrolling in Concorde-Portland’s nursing program and now cares for patients living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. These students’ dreams happened because of the campus teams who supported them. And for every Nush, Vince, Candace and Arnold, there are many—and will be many—more because of our dedicated employees. And as we move further into our North Star strategy, I’m confident that, as we adhere to our core values of integrity, collaboration, accountability, innovation, and results driven, our organization will grow even stronger, together.
