Most AHJs only care about survivability and not if the actual system works! This needs to change! Coverage gains mean nothing if they come at the expense of interference, noise floor issues, or degraded system performance elsewhere. This is exactly why coordination, modeling, and real RF engineering matter. You can’t treat each building as a standalone box and assume compliance equals performance. Public safety systems have to coexist, not compete. Appreciate David Adams calling this out. It’s a reminder that doing this work correctly requires thinking beyond the immediate project and designing for the environment as a whole.

🚨 GSA MAS Refresh #29 – Key Changes Coming August 2025 🚨 GSA has announced the upcoming MAS Refresh #29 and mass modification, with significant updates contractors need to prepare for, including: 🔹 New Templates for Offers & Modifications – Transition to the FAS Catalog Platform (FCP) Product and Services Plus Files for most SINs. 🔹 New Consolidated Economic Price Adjustment Clause – Streamlined and standardized across all FSS contracts. 🔹 Retirement of Remaining Small Business Set-Aside SINs – All 19 retired SBSA SINs removed from the MAS Solicitation. 🔹 IT Category Updates – SaaS under SIN 518210C no longer requires the “on-demand self-service” NIST characteristic; HACS SIN updates to align with the NICE Framework. 🔹 Security & Protection Updates – Expanded SIN 334220 to explicitly cover UAS/Drones. 🔹 Multiple SIN-specific clarifications and removals across Furniture, Scientific, and Protective Equipment categories. 📅 GSA anticipates the refresh will occur August 2025—now’s the time to review these changes and prepare.
