Curious: has anyone found a particular sub-agent role or setup that's been especially powerful? Would love to compare notes. I've been experimenting with Claude agent teams lately, and one thing stands out: the software paradigms we've always relied on (API design, test coverage, modularity) matter more when working with AI, not less. Giving each sub-agent a specific role (Team Lead, Frontend Dev, Backend Dev, QA Engineer) produced noticeably better results than asking one agent to do everything. Woah, LinkedIn is filled with YC and vibe coding. Why are they pushing it so much? Turns out, it's not just hype, it's capital 😉 they haven't launched a "vibe fund", but they’ve quietly backed dozens of AI-native startups through their standard $500k checks. That’s tens of millions indirectly fueling vibe-coded teams. Nearly 25% of startups in recent batches are building with 95%+ of their code written by AI. Teams of 10 doing the work of 50. Some pulling $1M–$10M ARR. Solar (Lumenary) is one example. But it's bigger than one startup, it’s a pattern. Vibe coding isn’t a trend. It’s becoming a YC lens on the future of product velocity. Still early. But the signal is strong.

defineQueryModel() is a typed TypeScript definition that sits in your codebase, points at your ClickHouse tables. Agents are good at two things with this: building new metrics (the types and the dev harness constrain what they can produce, so they get the aggregation right), and then using those metrics to build surface area. Chat tools, app features, MCP endpoints. The metric definition is already there, so the agent just wires it up. Apple quietly blocked vibe coding apps like Replit from the App Store unless they strip out the features that made them useful in the first place. No more generating and shipping apps without Xcode. No more skipping the review process. If you want to build for Apple, you go through Apple. Funny thing is, Apple is adding AI coding tools inside Xcode at the same time. They are not against AI.
