Merger/Acquisition 1.  KAM Technologies, an operator of an engineering and manufacturing firm intended for space, defense, and other advanced industrial sectors, was acquired by Vaya Space on April 29, 2025. 2.  Rosen Aviation, an operator of an aviation and aerospace company focused on the design, manufacture, and support of cabin electronics and in-flight entertainment, was acquired by Mid Continent Controls, a subsidiary of HEICO on April 21, 2025. 3.  Electronic Components, a distributor of electronic component products for the military, aerospace, medical and industrial marketplace, was acquired by Omni-Lite Industries for USD 350,000 on April 23, 2025. Later Stage VC 4.  True Anomaly, an operator of a fully integrated technology platform intended to offer space security and protect the freedoms and interests of the country, raised $260 million in Series C venture funding through a combination of debt and equity on April 30, 2025. 5.  JetZero, a developer of an advanced aircraft designed to improve efficiency and operational versatility, raised venture funding from United Airlines Ventures on April 24, 2025. 6.  Electra.aero, a manufacturer of hybrid-electric aircraft intended for sustainable urban and regional mobility, raised $115 million in Series B venture funding in a deal led by Prysm Capital on April 21, 2025. Early Stage VC 7.  Northwood, a developer of an ultra-wideband gateway technology designed to expand access to space by transforming satellite backhaul infrastructure, raised $30 million through a combination of Debt and Series A venture funding in a deal led by Andreessen Horowitz and Alpine Space Ventures on April 22, 2025, putting the company’s pre-money valuation at $77 million. Seed Round 8.  Leap, an operator of an earth-to-earth in-space manufacturing company intended to provide launch, creation, and recovery services for space-crafted goods, raised seed funding from One funds on April 23, 2025. 9.  Theseus, a developer of visual navigation system (VNS) intended to retrofit onto any drone that mimics a GPS, raised $4.3 million in seed funding in a deal led by First Round Capital on April 17, 2025. 10.  Union Technologies, a manufacturer of energetic products intended to modernize and advance munitions, propellants, and related technologies, raised $50 million in seed funding in a deal led by Regulus Global and BVVC on April 30, 2025.   #castleplacement #capitalraising #privateequity #venturecapital #investment #aerospace

Cambium, advanced materials technology that addresses performance challenges in defense and aerospace applications, raised $94.37 million through a combination of Series B and Series B-1 venture funding. 4. Hadrian, autonomous manufacturing platform that accelerates and reduces the cost of aerospace and defense production, raised $391.31 million of venture funding through a combination of debt and equity. 5. Heven Aerotech, aerospace technology that carries out actionable missions with drones, raised $100 million of Series B venture funding in a deal led by IonQ. 6. K2 Space, aerospace hardware products designed for space architecture, raised $250 million of Series C venture funding in a deal led by Redpoint Ventures. 7. Ursa Major, turnkey propulsion for various vehicles belonging to the microsatellite category for launch and hypersonic applications, raised $150 million of Series E venture funding through a combination of debt and equity. Early Stage VC 8. Quindar, comprehensive cloud-based platform created for satellite tests and operations, raised $18 million of Series A venture funding in a deal led by Washington Harbour. Seed Round 9. Fortastra, specialized spacecraft that protects the space systems the world depends on, raised $8.45 million of seed funding in a deal led by Upfront Ventures. 10. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development, enhance go-to-market initiatives, and solidify its role as the foundational layer within the modern property tech stack, optimizing the owner and renter experience. Led by CEO Jamey Rosamond, Vero provides a screening and leasing platform purpose-built for owners and renters. Acting as the foundational layer of the residential leasing stack, it helps operators reduce risk, increase velocity, and streamline workflows by consolidating fragmented tools into one centralized system. DICK'S Sporting Goods Delivers a Solid Q2 - Guidance Lift, Margin Strength, and Foot Locker Integration Ahead Dick’s Sporting Goods posted a clean Q2 beat, raising its full-year outlook as comparable sales rose 5%, ahead of consensus. Gross margin expanded, EPS outpaced expectations, and management spoke with confidence on pricing strategy, execution, and upcoming synergies from the Foot Locker acquisition. There’s still execution risk in absorbing a struggling rival, but if Dick’s pulls it off, it becomes the undisputed leader in athletic retail with an even tighter grip on Nike and performance categories. Q2 Snapshot EPS: $4.38 adj. vs. $4.32 est. Revenue: $3.65B vs. $3.63B est. (+5% YoY) Net income: $381M vs. $362M YoY Comp sales: +5.0% vs. +3.2% est.
