It’s official: SAP has completed the SmartRecruiters acquisition. What this really means: SmartRecruiters recruiting experience and AI will plug into SAP SuccessFactors to speed time-to-hire, lift candidate experience, and deepen analytics,while current SR customers keep the option to use it with SAP or other HCM’s. In today’s SAP market, the most capable candidates are rarely the ones pounding the “Apply” button. They’re not frantically applying for roles or actively searching for their next gig. These candidates only consider a move when something genuinely captures their attention. This is where many hiring processes break down. An IT leader’s first conversation with a candidate becomes that candidate’s first real impression of the company...where it stands today and where it’s headed.   When that leader can’t clearly explain the company’s direction or why the role truly matters, candidates sense it immediately.
