“Joe Fetzer is an exceptional engineer, team player, and teammate. Joe and I arrived at our new roles the same day, Joe as a senior engineer and I was hired to manage one of our (then) six support teams which were in the process of being assembled. Joe and I initially worked together as support engineers working customers cases and troubleshooting issues, finding elusive resolutions while gaining their trust and confidence in our product. After a period of reductions and realignment, Joe became a highly valued member of the team that I managed, always performing with a high level of personal responsibility, commitment, and dedication to the business values and mission. Joe quickly became a sought-out escalation resource for the team, providing technical expertise to anyone who asked, all of this in addition to his primary role of accepting, working, and resolving customer submitted support requests. Joe was highly proficient with both our products and the underlying operating systems where our products were installed, which enabled Joe to see the customer concern all the way from case submission to the case resolution, no matter how complex the issue. In addition to Joe’s exceptional technical abilities, he excelled at working with challenging and difficult customers. Joe’s soft skill’s were second to none, and he was often asked to pick up cases where customers had become frustrated to the point of threatening to abandon our product. Without hesitation, Joe would assume ownership of the case and in no time, have the customer back in our good graces, happy and confident in our ability to resolve their issue. Joe is that good, both as a technical engineer solving complex technical issues and an invaluable “face of the business”, who always brought great credit to our team and our Support organization. Your business will be proud that an Engineer of Joe’s technical and personal caliber chooses to work for your organization.”
