About
A lot of what looks like a performance or safety problem is actually an attention problem.
Leaders are stretched thin. Teams are overloaded. Notifications never stop. Decision cycles are compressed. Communication breaks down under pressure. Burnout creeps in quietly. Mistakes become more frequent. Safety margins shrink.
And from the inside, it can still look like productivity.
But distraction is expensive.
In dollars. In culture. In human cost.
As co-founder of Focus Now Training, I help organizations strengthen the one asset everything else depends on… attention.
Through mental fitness training, executive coaching, and high-impact keynotes, I work with leaders and teams to:
• Reduce preventable mistakes
• Improve decision clarity under pressure
• Strengthen communication in high-risk environments
• Build cultures of accountability and focus
• Increase psychological safety without lowering standards
• Improve performance while protecting wellbeing
This is operational readiness for the modern workplace.
Before co-founding Focus Now Training, I spent 24 years in the Navy, 17 as a Navy SEAL retiring as a Commander. I lead teams in high-stakes environments where distraction could get people hurt or killed. Since transitioning from military service, I’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies, executive teams, and high-performing organizations who understand that focus is no longer optional. It’s a competitive advantage.
I also co-host Men Talking Mindfulness, a podcast in its sixth year that reaches men in operational, industrial, and leadership environments who wouldn’t typically show up to a meditation app. Same thesis. Different audience. Attention is trainable. Stress doesn’t need to be reduced… your relationship with it needs to change.
My work blends SEAL leadership, neuroscience-backed mental skills, and practical organizational strategy. We don’t remove pressure. We train people to perform better under it.
The goal is sharper teams.
Safer teams.
More effective teams.
If you’re responsible for performance, culture, or safety inside your organization… and you believe attention is trainable… let’s talk.
Because focus isn’t a personality trait.
It’s a skill.

We are driven for innovative Veteran community. We are passionate about creating a safe environment in which relationships with both humans and horses can thrive in. We believe in natures ability to heal. We see the value in reigniting purpose in the lives of Veterans.
In addition, we also believe in the healing capabilities of equine partnerships. Horses, as prey animals, have mastered the skill of listening and sensing over the previous centuries. They are highly sensitive and incredibly honest. They cause their human partners to be open to trust and willing to work. Our program utilizes Equine Assisted Activities to grow the bond between horses and humans alike. Powerful growth can happen when we step along side each other and a horse. -
