Clarios announced a major step in our $6B plan to invest in U.S. manufacturing and secure the domestic energy supply chain. We are evaluating locations across the U.S. to build a new technology campus focused on producing supercapacitors. Of our $6B planned investment, $1B is earmarked for next generation technologies like #supercapacitors. To me, the term “next generation” refers to more than advanced technology. Supercapacitors will power our OEM customers’ innovations for the next decade and have potential beyond automotive and mobility—presenting cross-sector opportunities from #AI to defense.
