🚘 🏥 New Research: Identifying the Jobs That Drive Mobility in Metro Detroit Metro Detroit’s economy has long been shaped by automotive manufacturing – a legacy industry that has powered jobs and mobility for generations. Today, that legacy is evolving, and alongside healthcare, these two sectors continue to anchor opportunity in the region while facing growing talent shortages and shifting skill demands. Today, we’re releasing The Detroit Region’s Jobs That Mobilize, developed in collaboration with the Detroit Regional Workforce Partnership, an initiative of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan. The report combines local labor market research with direct employer engagement, using data to surface opportunities and then returning to employers to validate, refine, and sharpen the findings based on real hiring needs.
