“I was so lucky to have Jeff as a member of my team at CircleCI. He is a better engineer than he will let you believe, and since he presents as a really great engineer, you can hardly imagine how capable he is. He is pragmatic, methodical, thoughtful and considerate, and has an unbelievable ability to break a problem down to first principals and get to the bottom of “why” before diving into the “what”. This is a deep, hard to master skill. In fact, Jeff frequently asked me questions that caused me to reconsider my thinking, dig deeper and ultimately arrive at a better decision as a result. To this day, I have no idea how he was so informed about so many things in our greater domain, and even organization. But this gave him a more holistic view and a broader perspective on our how work fit into the work of those teams around us. As the manager of the Insights team at CircleCI, I received more positive feedback and praise for Jeff than anyone else in my entire career. He will always prioritize what he perceives to be the greater good for the company, the team and those around him over anything for himself - almost to his detriment. This does, however, make him an excellent mentor and technical leader. I also believe for these reasons, Jeff would make an amazing Manager should he ever decide that’s the path for him. I imagine Jeff will always be in high demand, as everyone I know who has ever worked with him is probably in line to get the chance again. BUT, if you’re lucky enough to be considering the opportunity to have him on your team, don’t sleep on it. I certainly wouldn’t.”

At the same time, the app will retrieve a list of books that are related to that destination from the Goolge Books API, and the user can add those books to his/her reading list. Data visualizations of the relationship between the user, his/her destinations, and books are rendered to the dashboard using the D3 library, and a map showing the user's destinations are rendered in D3 on the destination page. Users can also take notes on their destinations to help plan their travel itineraries.

React, React Router
