For years, we overloaded developers with cognitive load—asking them to be experts in K8s, Terraform, Security, AND their actual application code. The trend for 2026 is clear: Platform as a Product. We are seeing a massive rise in Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) that treat developers as customers, not just users.
