Houlihan Lokey’s financial-restructuring practice is the largest of any investment banking firm in the world. AMG has agreed to acquire a minority equity stake in Montefiore Investment, a leading European private equity firm. The deal will see Montefiore’s management maintain a substantial majority and full operational control, while leveraging AMG’s strategic resources for future growth. Jay C. Houlihan Lokey has hired Martin Rezaie for its financial sponsors business in Germany as it continues to expand its European investment bank. Houlihan has continued to hire senior bankers for its European business, with a particular focus on private equity firms.
