    Bytes Systems Integration has used TSPI Group's consulting services and SalesTracker software tool to radically improve its sales forecasting accuracy, improve profitability, sales efficiencies, and streamline its sales operations.

    The two companies implemented SalesTracker two years ago and TSPI Group consultantscoached Bytes Systems Integration's management and sales teams in the new sales performance improvement processes.

    “We have improved our customers' perception of Bytes Systems Integration's professionalism,” says MD, Rob Griggs, “improved our sales people's effectiveness, our cross-selling, quality of prospects, and our total sales environment.”

    Bytes Systems Integration is today a R1 billion-a-year business with over 80 sales people, 12 business units, and operations in South Africa and Africa, all of which amounts to acomplex, business-to-business sales environment.

    “One of the major benefits we gained from the programme was insight into the sales environment and strong forecasting visibility,” says Griggs. “In a given month last year we could specifically tell that we were on path to making sales targets, that our overall weighted projection was 97% accurate, but more significantly that there was a potential upside of almost 80% of the original figure that could be closed in the same month from just two of our businessunits. It highlighted for me where to focus our time and attention to immediately secure that business and also where to begin putting new opportunities into the pipeline.”

    Visibility is an essential ingredient in successful sales and Bytes Systems Integration is operating as a single sales business now instead of 12 disparate operations.
