    Lakeland Theatre is a Community Theatre in Littleton, NC. As Board Chair, it was my responsibility to oversee the operations of the theatre, manage theatre employees, work with volunteers to support the business and generally be responsible for the well-being of the company. The position included management, fundraising, grant writing, administrative and financial functions. Lakeland had an operating budget that exceed $250k and produced about 72 performances annually.

    Lakeland is a regional community theatre that serves the area south of VA between I95 and I85 along the North Carolina boarder. Lakeland offers several Arts and Education programs that support teens, tweens and families. I have volunteered at Lakeland for years, providing electrical, technical, managerial, production, renovation, directorial and performer assistance.

The board is highly involved with all chamber efforts.

    LCAC is a non-profit arts organization founded in the late 70s. In 2019 a philanthropist with ties to the area invested heavily in the facility. A multi-million dollar rebuild, including 3 performances spaces, an outdoor amphitheater, and a new school campus are part of the campus. I was enlisted to assist with design and deployment of a state-of-the-art digital sound system, lighting system and campus wide video production system. I also assisted with networking, telephony and campus wide wi-fi access. I oversee all cabling, technology and supporting systems. I provide training and high level technical guidance. I provide mentorship and training for volunteers including teenagers with STEM career aspirations.
