For almost 20 years, MyDirectives has focused on one single problem in the national #healthcare system: ensuring that the voice of the #patient, whether it's recorded in an advance directive, an advance care plan, a mental health advance directive, a #POLST or #MOLST, or some other document or media, is seamlessly and securely accessible whenever and wherever it's needed so our emergency first responders, doctors, nurses, and anyone else who needs it to make goal-concordant and medical order-concordant treatment decisions can get it. It's been a long . . . LONG road, but a growing number of states are choosing MyDirectives' nationwide registry over a siloed solution, a growing number of healthcare providers and payers are acknowledging the benefits of advance care planning at scale, when it works as it's intended to work, and a growing number of #EHR and #ePCR vendors are answering the call of their customers to embed MyDirectives' scalable, interoperable ACP solutions into their platforms so this critical information is recorded and shared. I'm personally grateful for the support and collaboration of Justin Keller and everyone at the Oregon Health Leadership Council, Abby Dotson, Ph.D. and the Oregon POLST Registry, and all our partners at Carequality and eHealth Exchange who made this happen. Craft3 is proud to announce we’re investing $1 million of our own capital to keep Oregon’s Clean Water Loan program running through March 2026, but we need legislative support to sustain it. Since 2016, this partnership between Craft3 and the state has helped families repair or replace failing septic systems, protecting public health and groundwater, and helping Oregonians stay in their homes. Taxes are going to kill Oregon. Yet they just keep pushing for more. It’s all the govt knows how to do. Tina Kotek is backtracking on removing the pre school for all tax even though there is 500m unspent in the fund. 500m unspent in houseless fund. I’ve been here 5 years and it gets harder and harder to argue for the city and state I now love. I hear they are interested in a tax moriturium on data centers here though🤯

I’m very happy to share that #Ceemingly has partnered with WorkSource Seattle-King County and the Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County to bring a video resume based hiring program to residents across King County. This partnership is especially meaningful to me because it brings hiring back to what it should be about people, relationships, and opportunity while thoughtfully using technology to help individuals be seen and heard. Beginning January 19, 2026, our #Ceemingly team will be on site daily at the WorkSource Seattle-King County #Rainier location, supporting the community with their hiring needs, including one-on-one assistance creating professional video resumes, with equipment available on site for anyone who needs it. As we learn from this pilot, we look forward to expanding this model to other communities and continuing to work alongside local employers who are committed to hiring not just locally but more human! This work started with listening. We were hearing stories from nonprofits across the country who suddenly found themselves at risk of losing access to online fundraising due to compliance issues with California’s new law regulating online fundraising, AB 488. CalNonprofits was hearing the same stories. So together, we focused on a policy solution. As I shared with The NonProfit Times, our goal was simple: protect donors without unintentionally cutting nonprofits off from the fundraising they rely on to fund their critical work, especially during year-end giving. I’m proud of what collaboration made possible: • A pause on new non-compliance designations • Streamlined resolution for organizations to retain their good standing status • Over 16,500 nonprofits able to continue fundraising without disruption This is what it looks like when the sector, advocates, platforms, and policymakers work together with good intent and practical outcomes. It's #SunshineWeek and our team inewsource, which includes our San Diego Documenters program, has been busy making local government more transparent and accessible. They audited 19 government agencies across San Diego County, including cities and the county Board of Supervisors, and graded them on various factors, including whether elected officials have readily available contact information and whether public meetings offer remote access. Before we hit publish on the project, agencies were already making and pledging improvements in response to our findings. That's impact! Another cool part of the project: Our team published a rubric so readers can do their own audits of their local governments.
