Progress in Action: Empowering Youth in San Bernardino County Today marked a significant milestone in our collaborative efforts to support youth reentry in San Bernardino County . This afternoon, Team ONH proudly welcomed Community Solutions as they launched the Youth MAP Program services. Their team led an impactful orientation for our Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), each of which will deliver vital workshops to youth on probation. These workshops will focus on: • Cognitive Life Skills • Anger Management • Substance Abuse Education • Healthy Relationships • Work Readiness • Goal Setting ...and more — including mentorship to guide and inspire. We’re excited to open the San Bernardino Youth Opportunity Center (SBYOC) as a Resource Hub for all providers to host their workshops. Youth will also have access to a range of transformative programs, including: • WIOA via the San Bernardino County Workforce Development Board • Violence Intervention & Prevention through SB City • CA OYCR Title II Program • ONH Mentoring Services These resources are designed to help youth change their narrative and build a brighter future. In the first half of 2025, the Oncology Social Work department at Ridley-Tree Cancer Center provided critical support to 1,235 cancer patients in Santa Barbara County.   This dedicated team of licensed clinical social workers, therapists, and case workers: ➡️ Secured $146,000 in co-pay assistance and $554,352 in free medications for patients ➡️ Delivered 272 distress screenings, 227 counseling sessions, and 211 advance care plans ➡️ Coordinated 955 medical financial aid cases and 651 transportation solutions With bilingual staff members, the department ensures services are accessible to Santa Barbara County’s diverse community.   This comprehensive and compassionate support wouldn’t be possible without funding from the Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara, which granted $865,161 to social services at Ridley-Tree Cancer Center in 2024.   #CancerFoundationSB #CommunityImpact #OncologySocialWork #SantaBarbara

Incredibly proud to partner with Health Roads to implement third-party administrator (TPA) services for a billing solution for the County of Marin, Department of Health and Human Services' JI (Justice-Involved) program. While the technical work is vital, the "why" behind this project is even more significant. At our project kickoff, a Marin County executive shared a perspective that perfectly captures the mission: "This is a momentous moment... The current system is not built for the people it is serving. This project will help redesign that—providing better access to care and more coordination across systems.” This work is not just about billing. It is about building a resilient framework so that essential services for our justice-involved community members are not only delivered but are financially viable for the county. At its core, we are redesigning systems of care to anchor on the client. This is exactly why we do what we do: building the infrastructure that allows meaningful care to thrive. Huge thank you to the visionary team at Marin County and our partners at Health Roads for inviting us to be part of this vital work. Excited to get to work!
