People want to make a contribution to bettering the world in which they live. Often they find that aspiration stifled by the culture in which they live and work. "We are Cultural Architects" provides a framework for understanding the language, structures…I speak to various groups about developing cultures that support of creativity, innovation, effectiveness.

We are Cultural Architects: Designing Social Interactions that Support Effective Cultures
People want to make a contribution to bettering the world in which they live. Often they find that aspiration stifled by the culture in which they live and work. "We are Cultural Architects" provides a framework for understanding the language, structures and values associated with five common cultures found in every organization and suggests ways in which each person can contribute to shifting the culture in which (s)he lives and works in ways that are more positive and effective.
Most recently, I delivered this as a keynote speaker to Oklahoma Department of Human Services Wellness Conference (February 2018).
Dynamic Project Design: Designing and Executing Projects that Work
Designing a great project that attracts the resources and people necessary for its success is typically hard to do. Entrepreneurs and angel investors are typically satisfied if one out of ten projects succeeds. Using an iterative, collaborative project design process called the Inspiring Martini process, participants learn to design and pitch projects that leverage the small contributions of others to increase the pull and potential success of a ennobling project.
Pulling for WE: Subtle Structures For Effective Collaboration and Teamwork
Groups and teams are fundamental to accomplishing important work. But, many people dread group and team work suggesting that working with people is often a frustrating and colossal waste of time and energy when assessed against the work accomplished. Designing workgroups for success - based on principles of social dynamics, soft skills and key role assignments - can produce effective, energizing and inspiring collaborative experiences. Pulling for WE provides a blueprint for designing productive groups and effective teams.
