I have run the local Meetup for Kotlin developers since before Google announced formal Kotlin support in Android. We've held several meetings each year. Our largest event was a one-day conference in October 2019 called Kotlin/Everywhere Twin Cities which hosted over 150 attendees at Best Buy Headquarters. Here are the session videos from that event: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRIsvmiLqpX3_cCqrLszKXmW9IdtnFl75

    Science and Technology

Organized Hack for MN, Minnesota's National Day of Civic Hacking event. This annual hackathon event drew around 100 attendees each year to build technology projects for the public good.

Personally, I built an Android app to find resources for the homeless. One of our hack's most successful projects was OMG Transit, a real-time, multi-modal transit information finder.

Led and hacked with the team that won first place in the first annual Pan-Pearson Hackathon. This event spanned more than a dozen Pearson campuses around the globe and attracted nearly fifty teams. Our winning project was an innovative Android app utilizing NFC technology.
