Most dental websites that we audit have one "services" page that lists everything. You need a separate page for every service in every city you target. → "dental implants dallas" → "veneers salt lake" → "tmj specialist phoenix" one page per keyword. unique content on each. the more specific and targeted you can get, the better you will rank for that term. this is how you rank for 50+ keywords instead of 3.

The “Great Texas Med Spa Confusion” — Let’s Clear This Up Last week, a viral blog post sent waves of panic through the Texas aesthetics community, claiming that physicians can no longer delegate nonsurgical cosmetic procedures to estheticians. The post has since been taken down. But the confusion remains. Here’s what you actually need to know: 1. Botox has always been the practice of medicine in Texas. That is not new. The real legal question has never been whether injectables are medical — it’s whether they can be delegated. Under Texas law, physicians may still delegate nonsurgical cosmetic procedures to properly trained individuals, including unlicensed staff, as long as heightened delegation standards are met. 2. Jenifer’s Law (HB 3749) did not ban med spa delegation. That law specifically addressed elective IV therapy. It did not eliminate delegation authority for injectables or other cosmetic procedures. Conflating IV therapy rules with general delegation rules created unnecessary alarm. 3. The 2025 Texas Medical Board updates reorganized the rules. They did not ban delegation. The requirements previously found in Rule 193.17 were consolidated into Texas Administrative Code §§ 169.25–169.29. The framework remains intact. Delegation is still permitted — but documentation, training, and supervision standards matter. Here’s what practices must continue doing: ✔ Conduct a proper Good Faith Exam before treatment ✔ Maintain patient-specific written orders ✔ Ensure documented training in technique and complication management ✔ Meet availability requirements ✔ Post required TMB notices and physician license information Texas has always had a structured delegation regime. That hasn’t changed. What has changed is how quickly misinformation spreads. If you operate a med spa in Texas, this is a good reminder to audit your protocols, not panic. Compliance isn’t about reacting to viral posts. It’s about documentation, structure, and discipline. Texas just rewrote dentist non‑competes. Are your deal docs ready? Starting Sept. 1, 2025, Texas SB 1318 sets bright‑line limits on any covenant “relating to the practice of dentistry.” To be enforceable, a dentist non‑compete now must: ·      last no more than 1 year after termination, ·      be limited to a ≤ 5‑mile radius from the dentist’s primary practice location, and ·      include a clearly stated buyout right priced no higher than the dentist’s total annual salary and wages at termination. What the “buyout” means: it’s the dentist’s option to pay to be released from the non‑compete obligations. The buyout cap is the dentist’s annual salary and wages at termination, and it must be disclosed conspicuously. What’s unique? Its Broad Scope—and it’s being debated. Some commentators read the statute as employment‑agreement‑only. But the plain text does not make that distinction: it broadly reaches covenants “relating to the practice of dentistry.” Practically, that could encompass post-ownership restrictions in Operating Agreements (OAs) of Shareholder Agreements and sale‑of‑practice/APA covenants if they limit a seller’s clinical services. Until courts clarify, the conservative approach is to assume the rule applies to any restriction that limits practicing dentistry. Dental M&A / DSO implications (practical): ·      If a clinical non‑compete sits in an employment agreement, operating agreement, or APA, draft it to 1‑year / 5‑mile and include the capped buyout with clear, conspicuous language. ·      Define “Primary Practice Location.” If time is split between locations, clearly state how it’s measured. ·      Grandfathering: pre‑9/1/25 agreements keep their current terms until renewed or amended—then the new rules apply. We Never Know. Last week, I had the distinct opportunity to have conversations with some of the top DSO leaders in the dental industry at the Dykema DSO Industry Group 2026 DSO Leadership Summit in Dallas. In this video clip, I had the chance to sit down with Rahma Samow, President & CEO of ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers. She has such a fascinating story. One that began with a commitment to serve which then evolved into the opportunity to lead. What stood out most to me about her journey is this simple truth: We never know. So many of us, myself included, map out our careers in a straight line. We believe that if we stay disciplined, execute the plan, and move from one milestone to the next, everything will unfold exactly as expected. But Rahma’s story is a powerful reminder that leadership journeys are rarely linear. When we commit to the fundamentals, serving well, showing up consistently and adding value, we never truly know where that path may lead. Her story is both inspirational and grounding. It’s a reminder that it’s okay not to have the next 5, 10, or 25 years perfectly mapped out. Sometimes the greatest opportunities emerge from simply doing the basics exceptionally well.
