I chose to pursue an MBA rather than a degree in IT because I wanted to learn more about how I could apply information technology to server the business. Bentley courses tended to do a lot of cross functional projects, i.e. I would be on a team with an accountant, a plant manager, a sales rep and an HR VP. We would work together to analyze business problems and collaboratively recommend a solution. This experience broadened my understanding of business and how I fit in. Since I was working…

Seeing the need for a Business Intelligence User Group in southern New England, I started this group to share experience and ideas, network and learn. We have monthly meetings at Bryant University with a presentation and sometimes host webinars. We co-hosted the 2014 SQL Saturday Providence.
