(GreenXT) was awarded a $45M five-year prime contract to provide technical services to Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). This requirement is for NSWCPD Code 512, which is responsible for supporting the machinery control systems on USS Freedom (LCS-1), USS Independence (LCS-2), USS Constellation (FFG-62), Improved Navy Lighterage System (INLS), Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC), Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF), Navy Fleet Oilers (T-AO)s, and other ship classes of US Navy surface ships under the NSWCPD Code 512 purview. NSWCPD Code 512 supports the development, modernization, acquisition, and life cycle maintenance of the Machinery Control Systems for these ship classes. GreenXT has been proudly supporting Code 512 since 2018, and we have helped our government partners continuously improve the reliability and effectiveness of the machinery control systems. Deputy Ops, Mark Greco, remarked, “I’m incredibly proud of our team—their hard work, dedication, and support were the driving force behind winning this recompete award. This achievement reflects not only their commitment and teamwork but also the strength of our partnership with Code 512.” Neil Kirpalani added, “Our team is excited to continue supporting machinery controls systems for LCS and FFG. 🚀 General Atomics just changed the game for long-range fires. The U.S. defense giant has unveiled a new concept that turns the ER-GMLRS and Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) into multi-target weapons — by packing each rocket with multiple Long-Range Maneuvering Projectiles (LRMPs). Each ER-GMLRS or PrSM round could carry up to three autonomous glide submunitions, each capable of independently maneuvering to a separate target — even in GPS-denied environments. The LRMPs add over 120 km of glide range, extending reach, flexibility, and lethality from a single launch. This innovation means a single launcher can now perform what used to require an entire battery — enabling area denial, ship strikes, and precision land attack in one system. Testing is underway, with first deliveries to the U.S. Marine Corps expected in 2026.
