Best Paper Invited to SPECOM/CSL
Interspeech 2010
In "Improved Topic Classification and Keyword Discovery Using an HMM-Based Speech Recognizer Trained without Supervision", I carried out experimental work to classify topic in speech in an unsupervised manner. Unlike traditional approach, our group used self-organizing unit as the basic unit for speech processing.
This paper is invited to SPECOM/CSL as a special journal paper. -
CMUSphinx as Project of the Month at March 2006
Sourceforge
CMUSphinx, is an open source large vocabulary continuous speech recognizer, and a collection of tools for building successful speech applications.
CMUSphinx was award as Project of the Month at March 2006, I was one of the maintainers, as well as on of the key developers of Sphinx 3.X. -
Speechworks "Hit the Ground Running" Award
Speechworks
I was a Junior Speech Scientist of Speechworks International Team, the "Hit the Ground Running" award was presented to young scientists within the company who has self-motivation and drive to fulfill their goal and tasks within Speechworks.
