    CareX is a smart assistant to reduce readmission rates for cardiac patients using Amazon Alexa and Athena health API.
    The application interfaces with Athenahealth API to obtain patient details such as Medicine Schedule, Dietary restrictions, allergies, contact details of assigned Doctors and caregivers.

    CareX is a smart assistant to reduce readmission rates for cardiac patients using Amazon Alexa and Athena health API.
    The application interfaces with Athenahealth API to obtain patient details such as Medicine Schedule, Dietary restrictions, allergies, contact details of assigned Doctors and caregivers.

    Amazon Alexa works as a smart healthcare assistant and logs daily vitals of the patient and provides information to patient queried above. It sends notifications to caregivers if the patient's vitals indicate a need to do so. It also facilitates booking an appointment with the Doctor by voice commands. The call and SMS communication is done using Twilio API
