🚀 Excited to announce the launch of vue-persian - a new GitHub organization dedicated to building high-quality Vue.js tools for Persian language support! After years of working with Persian/Farsi applications and constantly writing the same RTL, digit conversion, and date formatting code, I decided to create reusable solutions that the entire Vue.js community can benefit from. 📦 Current Project: @vue-persian/composables A comprehensive TypeScript library featuring: - Direction management (RTL/LTR) - Persian & Western digit conversion - Persian number formatting with proper separators - Jalali (Persian) calendar support - Currency formatting (Rial/Toman) - Persian text normalization - Smart input handling The library is production-ready, fully typed, and tested with Vitest. 💡 What's Next? I’ve built a small personal resume website: https://lnkd.in/euY9MUa9 It’s a React + SCSS project. The design was created using Stitch + Figma AI, and then reviewed by a professional designer to identify and fix critical design issues. Why did I do this? - Today there are plenty of resume platforms: LinkedIn, GetMatch, HH — and of course, the old dusty PDF somewhere on the desktop 🙂 I wanted to create a single source of truth — one place where everything is structured in a way that makes sense to me. - I intentionally kept the tech stack minimal (plain React, not Next.js). I also connected the repository to RenovateBot to stay aware of dependency updates and avoid “freezing” in outdated knowledge. I try to use RenovateBot in all my pet projects — it’s a small but effective discipline boost. - I mainly wanted to document my experience and projects. From my perspective, the hiring market has become a bit chaotic: 1) at one point you’re expected to list measurable business impact; 2) then suddenly it’s optional (or required again); 3) resumes must be formal, 4) but at the same time people suspect they were written by AI and that the experience is “inflated”. At some point, I realized I wanted to write a resume not for algorithms or trends, but for myself. Just like old photos aren’t about likes but about memories, this resume became a snapshot of a large and meaningful chapter of my life. Had the pleasure of attending Code.Digest at Microsoft Canada today, organized by Alex Pshul . 👏 The event was packed with great talks, but the panel discussion with April Gittens ,Alfredo Deza , and Anthony Bartolo really stood out. They touched on some key aspects of building AI systems: - April’s perspective on bias in AI systems and the ethical considerations when building and consuming AI was thought-provoking. - Alfredo emphasized the importance of bringing your own story to the table, having expertise in different domainswhile building can give you and edge and his enthusiasm for building things was palpable. - Anthony wrapped it up perfectly with a reminder about hustling and always learning, a message especially powerful for new grads starting their journey. All in all, a day full of insights, discussions, and inspiration. Excited to keep learning and applying these perspectives in my own work! 🚀

The Most Absurd Request I Have Ever Encountered in My Software Development Career There exists a company in Turkey that purports to be a technology firm. I recently heard the most ludicrous, nonsensical, and ridiculous request imaginable, one that challenges the limits of human reasoning. The individual making this request is utterly lacking in intelligence. They asked, "We desire an invoice for the marble that originates from the mountain, issued by the mountain itself." I had to clarify that while it may be feasible for a farmer to obtain an invoice for the milk produced by their cow – as the cow is a living being; with the assistance of AI, a cow could potentially be trained in accounting and learn to issue invoices to the farmer – it is entirely impossible to generate invoices for stones that emerge from the mountain and lack any form of life. It appears that many companies are failing to perform their duties adequately these days. Numerous firms, in particular, employ uneducated and uninformed individuals who do not fulfill the qualifications required for their roles, leading to the disgrace of these companies. It is imperative that you do not retain such individuals within your organization; terminate their employment without delay. Their presence could lead to the financial ruin of the business. Complaints regarding IYZICO, the company referenced in this example, are escalating rapidly, and the unavoidable consequence is that this company is likely to face bankruptcy due to the absurd claims it makes concerning security and technological failures, placing the companies it collaborates with in precarious situations. I strongly advise those associated with this company to promptly seek out and transition to more reputable firms. https://lnkd.in/gCdwyG6t

React 19 simplifies ref handling in function components. Previously, we needed forwardRef to pass refs to child components. Now, ref can be accessed directly as a prop, just like any other prop. This change makes our code cleaner and more intuitive. The forwardRef wrapper is no longer necessary for new components, and it will be deprecated in future React versions.
