Consumer Volume for Businesses: Single Page Application based on Foursquare API to identify crowded places/timings
See projecthttps://sheltered-badlands-5817.herokuapp.com/#/explore
Created a Node.js+Angular.js Single Page App to identify what places(i.e. restaurants, coffee shops etc.) are busy based on day of the week. Intended to identify what days are 'happening' v/s normal for those places.
For ex: If you search for San Francisco and goto Crowd Alert on California Academy of Life Sciences you see a spike on Thursdays.

Breast Cancer Detection System
Used Support Vector Machines with Radial Basis Function Kernel, AdaBoost with Decision Trees and Naïve Bayes classification algorithms to solve this problem. Each Algorithm’s performance was evaluated and final system performance was compared against the reference system provided.
-
Perceptron based branch predictor using simplescalar
Branch Predictor implementation based on Neural Networks. Performance analysis/comparison using opensource Mibench benchmarks.
-
Socket programming
File transfer using TCP/IP & Go Back N Protocol. The server-client combination was multi-threaded to handle multiple client requests.
-
Traveling Salesperson Problem - OpenMP
Used Depth First Search algorithms to efficiently find least cost path, using OpenMP. The multi-threaded program was run on Saguaro Cluster.
-
Line Follower
Built an autonomous robot using 8051 microcontroller. The autonomous robot was programmed in Embedded C to find the smallest loop in a given graph.
-
Web based Secure Banking System
-
Built an online secure banking system to implement role based authentication. Worked extensively on JSP to implement forms and jquery validation. Spring MVC security features were used to make the application secure. MySQL server was used for database management. Hibernate Query Language for security. PKI and OTP authentication was used for secure login.

Semantic Matching of Web Services Security Policy
-
Implemented a semantic matching algorithm of Web Services Security Policy using OWL Ontology.
-
UNIX V6 File System
-
Emulation of File System including Multiple user access. User commands such as mkdir, cpout, cpin etc. were implemented. The disk system facilitates creation of inodes, freelist for creation of files and allocation of memory. Implementations adhered to POSIX threads and threads were synchronized using semaphores.
