    The client, a commercial real estate broker, required a new phone system to replace their ageing PBX. One challenge was the need for increased internet bandwidth to use reliable VoIP. We brokered the internet upgrade with Time Warner Cable Business Class and installed a pfSense firewall that would provide traffic prioritization and bandwidth control ensuring the quality of service for their VoIP calls. An on-premises Asterisk installation provides all the required features for the firm with plenty of capacity for expansion.

    The client, a medium sized petroleum contractor, required a software and hardware upgrade from Microsoft Small Business Server 2008. We successfully migrated their 25 user environment over to Windows Server 2012 r2 running on VMware ESX 6.0. One of the main goals of this project was to migrate their companies file shares from an NAS that was not part of Active Directory to the Windows File Server. Additionally, linking their AD users with Office 365 provided a singular username and password for email and network access. Security was also increased within their LAN by implementing RADIUS on AD for their Ubiquity Wireless Access Points.

    Backup and disaster recovery was a very important part of this solution; using Veeam backup for the task of reliability backing up and archiving their two VMWare hosts was key. This backup has been tested a few times, during the Migration of their legacy ERP application over to their new SQL Server 2012 installation.

    The client, a medium sized chemical manufacture, required a software and hardware upgrade from Microsoft Small Business Server 2008 running on VMWare ESXi 4.x. We successfully migrated the 75 user environment over to Windows Server 2012 r2 and Exchange 2013 running on VMware ESXi 5.5 load balanced between two hosts.

    One of the main goals of this migration was to correct some legacy issues with My Document Redirection and Offline Folder with Laptop users. We not only fixed those issues, we implemented a remote monitoring solution that would alert when offline folders were not correctly synced with the server. The entire solution is backed up with Veeam® Backup & Replication stored onsite as well as a replicated copy moved offsite, making use of the clients Gigabit Internet connection.
