When I was a child, ADHD wasn’t widely understood. My Parents wanted me learning alongside other children, not sidelined by a system that didn’t yet know how to support different learning styles. When the school system tried to place me in a “special” class, his response was simple and unwavering: this isn’t a lack of intelligence—it’s a need for the right kind of teaching. "Do your job. Teach." I share this not as a statement of superiority or exception, but as a reminder of two enduring truths. First, parents who advocate fiercely for their children shape outcomes that last a lifetime. Second, there is almost always more than one way to solve a problem—especially when the default system falls short. This isn’t about being smarter. It’s about being seen, supported, and taught in a way that works. "There is always another way to skin a cat" PS I dont always pay my dues at MENSA So active Membership is a stretch.
