Implemented CloudTrail across all regions, along with AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Systems Manager Patch Manager. Enforced MFA across all IAM accounts and restricted SSH and sensitive port access using IP allowlisting. Configured EBS encryption with customer-managed KMS keys and enforced all EC2 management exclusively through AWS SSM Session Manager. Isolated backup infrastructure in a dedicated AWS account with S3 Object Lock for immutable, tamper-proof backups. Authored written control justifications for every applicable and non-applicable control as required by DISP audit standards.

Our team designed and implemented a highly cost-effective solution utilizing Proxmox 8.3 VE on HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Servers, significantly reducing operational expenditures while ensuring data integrity and security. The migration involved handling a massive volume of sensitive files and configurations (vmdk, RAW, qcow2), which presented complex data transfer challenges successfully overcome by our team.

Additionally, the project addressed a unique domain controller codependence challenge. We seamlessly integrated new Windows Server 2019 domain controllers with the client's existing Windows 2008 R2 DCs, leveraging 2019's backward compatibility to ensure continuous, uninterrupted operations and a smooth transition.
