Filter the Talent Pool Report by school and degree in Talent Insights

When you create a Talent Pool Report in LinkedIn Talent Insights, you can use the School or Degree filters to help you narrow down or expand your search results to meet your specific education requirements.

The School and Degree filters allow you to:

  • Identify candidates with specific educational backgrounds or from particular institutions.
  • Ensure that your search results align with your organization's education requirements.

To search by school or degree in Talent Insights:

  1. Click Create a Talent Pool Report on your Talent Insights homepage.

  2. Select and populate your filters.

  3. Click Advanced Filters.

  4. Click the  Add icon next to the School filter.

  5. Enter a school name and select it from the dropdown. You can add more than one school to this filter.

  6. Click the  Add icon next to the Degree filter.

  7. Select one of the following degree options from the dropdown:

    • Associate's Degree
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Master's Degree
    • Master of Business Administration
    • Doctor of Philosophy
    • Doctor of Medicine
    • Doctor of Law

  8. Click Apply to generate the report.

Search results are based on the information listed in the Education section on a member’s profile. If a member has multiple schools or degrees listed on their profile, they’ll be included in all relevant search results.
