Important to know
No member data is provided through the Analytics Integration.
The data supplied through the Analytics Integration is the same type of data that can be exported from Usage Reporting as a CSV. The Analytics Integration does provide more granular details for each activity, including searches, InMails sent, profile views, and more. Sales Navigator seat data is also exported, such as email address of the Sales Navigator user.
To be eligible for this integration, users must:
-
Have a LinkedIn Sales Navigator Advanced or Advanced Plus plan.
-
Be an administrator of the Sales Navigator contract, or be a Reporting user on the Sales Navigator contract.
- Reporting user access does not take up a seat on the contract.
-
Use one of the following:
- Tableau: Tableau Desktop version 2019.4 (or later), Tableau Online, or a free trial of either.
- Power BI: Be a Power BI user. Learn more about getting started with Power BI.
- InsightSquared: Have an InsightSquared Sales Analytics Package and InsightSquared administrator permissions.
For InsightSquared, once you meet all the requirements, you can get started immediately by reaching out to support@insightsquared.com with the subject line Linkedin Sales Nav Analytics. InsightSquared will respond and schedule a personalized call with you to set up the integration in a matter of minutes.
To start syncing data from Sales Navigator to your Business Intelligence platform, a Sales Navigator administrator or reporting user must authenticate one of the partners to access your contract’s Sales Navigator Usage data.
When a Sales Navigator contract administrator or reporting user initiates the LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration within Power BI or Tableau, they’ll be shown a prompt to log into Sales Navigator. After logging in, they’ll be required to give explicit access for the partner to access the Sales Navigator contract’s product usage data. Only after explicitly allowing access will the partners’ platforms be able to access this data.
No, LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator don't have access to any data stored in your Business Intelligence platform.
Here's a tip
As a contract administrator or reporting user, you can access data for the last two years, however, this data can take up to 24 hours to be visible after intial activation.
