How Do I Add, Edit, and Delete Notes for Accounts and Leads in Sales Navigator?

With the notes feature in Sales Navigator, you can keep a record of relevant information and action items for important leads and accounts.

Here's a tip

If you were previously using comments on custom lead and account lists, your existing comments will now display as notes.

To manage a note:

  1. Locate the saved lead or account you’d like to add a note for.

  2. Tap View/add notes.

  3. To add a note, enter your note, select if you'd like to save it as a Private note or Public note, and tap Save.

    • Private notes are visible only to you.
    • Public notes are visible to anyone on your contract.
    • If your contract is CRM synced, you may also choose to copy the note back to your CRM.
  4. To edit an existing note, tap More and tap Edit note.

    • You can update the note text or visibility.
  5. To delete an existing note, tap More, and tap Delete.

    • In the window that appears, tap Delete.
