Sales Navigator Admin Settings - InMail and Messaging

You can set up InMail and Messaging access for your team from your Admin Settings page. To access these settings:

  1. Sign in to Sales Navigator.

  2. Click Admin at the top of the page.

  3. Under Admin, select the Admin Settings tab.

  4. On the left rail, select InMail and Messaging and click Change to switch the toggle to Yes for these choices under Enable messaging for your team:

    • Choose whether your team has the ability to send InMails and messages in Sales Navigator.
    • Choose whether your team has the ability to attach files to InMails and messages in Sales Navigator.
    • Choose whether or not the disclosure message is enabled.

    Note: If you toggle on the disclosure message, that custom signature will appear under any InMail message sent by your team. It allows recipients to unsubscribe from InMail messages from anyone on your dashboard in the future.

    You can type in the box, then click Save.


     

  5. When all desired updates and changes have been made, click Close in the top right corner of the section.

Other things to consider when editing InMail or Messaging settings for your team:

  • The disclosure message is not visible to team members as they compose an InMail and will only appear at the end of an InMail as seen by the recipient. Learn more about our policies surrounding unsolicited messages.

  • Within the Disclosure message section, you also have the option to add block copy at the end of your message. The block copy allows recipients to unsubscribe from receiving InMail messages from anyone on your dashboard in the future. You'll be able to customize this message in the text box provided, then clicking Save.
