As part of our ongoing efforts to improve Apply With LinkedIn (AWLI) and to continue to provide a best-in-class user experience, LinkedIn has made the following changes effective as of April 2023:
- AWLI has transitioned from a cookie-based experience to an OAuth model. This transition will help address GDPR e-privacy cookie consent as well as compatibility with iOS 14+ and Chrome 92+.
- AWLI product design is clearer and more effective.
Check out some of the frequently asked questions about AWLI.
Apply With LinkedIn (AWLI) is an integration with our partners and customers that enables LinkedIn members to easily apply for jobs directly from your website. When a LinkedIn member clicks the AWLI button on your site, we'll automatically pre-populate some of the job application fields that you request with the member’s LinkedIn profile data and will also make the member's profile available to you, subject to their privacy settings. Application data from these candidates is then available in both the partner interface (e.g., customer’s ATS) and Recruiter.
As of April 2023, AWLI has transitioned from a cookie-based experience to an OAuth model. This transition is being implemented to help address GDPR e-privacy cookie consent as well as compatibility with iOS 14+ and Chrome 92+.
The redesigned AWLI module allows members to easily understand their application with an all-new layout and visual design.
Please ask your ATS to reach out to LinkedIn’s developer support via Zendesk if your AWLI implementation is not displaying correctly.
