Tag a LinkedIn Page in your photo

Last updated: 3 years ago

LinkedIn Pages and Showcase Pages can be tagged in photos that you post to LinkedIn. Tagging a Page can help drive engagement with your photo. After a Page is tagged, the Page can share your post to their followers and visitors.

  1. Go to your homepage or admin view:

    • To post as yourself, go to your LinkedIn homepage and click Start a post
    • To post as a Page, go to your Page super or content admin view and click Create.
  2. Enter your text and click the Picture icon to upload a file from your computer. You can select up to nine images for your post. Photo requirements:

    • The size limit for an upload is 5 MB.
    • We recommend the image be at least 552 (w) x 276 (h) pixels. Small, low-resolution photos might appear low quality.
    • Image frame ratio ranges from 3:1 to 4:5 (width/height). If the ratio is larger, the image will be centered and cropped.
    • Uploaded images can't be resized.
  3. Click Tag, then click anywhere on the photo.

  4. Enter the name of the Page and select it from the list.

    • Repeat these steps to tag more Pages. You can tag up to 30 Pages or members per photo.
    • For multiple photos, scroll to each selected image in the edit image screen.
  5. Click Alt. Text to describe the contents of your photo.

    • Alt text allows members using voice-over screen readers to understand what’s in the image. Alt text isn’t visible to members not using screen readers.
  6. Click Save, then click Done to return to the preview stage.

  7. Click the dropdown to adjust your privacy settings. The privacy is set to Anyone by default. Click Done.

  8. Click Post.
