Resend a license activation email in Recruiter

As an admin in LinkedIn Recruiter, you can resend a license activation email to new users on your contract.

When a new user on your contract is assigned a license, they receive an invitation email with an activation link that expires after seven days. If the link expires, you can resend a license activation email from the LinkedIn Admin Center.

If you’d like to send invitations to more than 2,000 users, to avoid long upload times, use one of the following methods: CSV uploads or Groups (segment users into separate sections and perform bulk actions on them).

Important to know

Hiring team members must activate their license to collaborate in Recruiter.

To resend an activation email in Recruiter:

  1. Move your cursor over your profile picture at the top of your Recruiter homepage and select Manage users in Admin Center from the dropdown.

  2. On the User & license management tab, in the Users section, find the user(s) who you want to resend the activation email to.

    • You can search by name or email. You can also filter users by License type, License status, and Groups.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the user(s) you want to resend the activation email to, or select the checkbox at the top of the list to select all users.

  4. Click Resend invite at the bottom of the page.

  5. Click Save to resend the activation email.

The selected user(s) will receive an email to activate their license.

Here's a tip

You can click the Link icon next to a single user in Admin Center to copy their unique invitation link and send it via another channel.
