If you’ve enabled Job Wrapping, you can add Skills to your job post on LinkedIn Recruiter. LinkedIn displays these job posts to members who’ve listed matching Skills on their profile.
Skills can be added to your job postings in the following ways:
-
Directly while posting the job: You can suggest up to 10 Skills in the Add skills section of your job description. Click inside the Add skill+ button and it will transform into search box. Type the skill you're looking for to prompt suggested skills.
For example, SKILLS: MS Office, Python
-
Title Mapping: You can use title mapping to correctly map multiple job attributes to jobs with the same title.
-
Mapped Skills: You can assign a group of up to 10 Skills to a unique tag and then include the tag in the job description to suggest mapping of these skills.
For example, if you set the tag #SKILLS1 to contain ‘MS Office’ and ‘Python’, jobs with the tag #SKILLS1 in the job description may have ‘MS Office’ and ‘Python’ mapped as Skills for targeting.
Important to know
Title mapping rules overwrite mapped skills currently in place if the newly created rule applies to the mapped skill.
Here's a tip
You can view the available Skills by going through the manual job posting flow in your LinkedIn Recruiter account.
