Once you block a member on LinkedIn, you can't interact with them. If you try to view a blocked member's profile, the name will say "(account closed)" and no profile content will be displayed.
Some existing activity between you and a blocked member may still be viewable:
-
InMails - You'll be able to view your old InMail conversations, but you won't be able to take any action on the InMails or access the member's profile from the InMails.
-
Projects - You won't be able to add the member to any projects. The member will show up as "(account closed)" in projects with but if you click into the member's profile, you won't be able to view profile details. Other seat holders on the Recruiter account will be able to view the member's profile in the project list and view the member's profile content as normal.
-
Notes/Reminders - You won't be able to view or add Notes/Reminders to the member's profile. If you saved and shared notes on that member's profile with the rest of your Recruiter contract previously, the Notes will remain visible to them but not to you.
-
Saved Search - The member won’t show up in Saved Search alerts, or any searches in general.

Note: Only you will be able to unblock the member and in most cases we won't notify the member that you blocked them. If you block a member that you share or have shared a LinkedIn Recruiter account with, we may need to let that member, or the Recruiter admin, know about the block in order to effectively manage that Recruiter account. If you’re blocking someone that you currently or previously have shared a Recruiter account with, we reserve the right to notify this member of your block.
