Promoted jobs are jobs that are targeted to passive candidates through job recommendations we make across LinkedIn, including Jobs You Might be Interested In, emails, and the LinkedIn feed. Promoted Jobs are also visible to active candidates when they search for jobs on LinkedIn.
Basic jobs are jobs that appear only in the Jobs tab of the employers’ company page and the central Jobs search tab.
Job Wrapping copies all the jobs from your career site or job source and posts them as Basic Jobs on LinkedIn and your company’s page. With Job Wrapping, you can control which jobs are your highest priority and post them as Promoted Jobs via Job Slots.
Basic jobs do not have a project associated to it. Only when the basic job is promoted will it have a project.
